Egith or Iggy or simply..a Godess

AM: Modeling and Blogging, what part of your personality   expresses?

ED:If I look back at my blogging history and my modeling career, I see that both inspire me on the fashion side.  After finishing my degree at the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, I knew I would always be inspired to work in the fashion industry. In front or Behind the scenes. I enjoy both. With fashion I can express myself, who I am without having to speak. Thats the beauty of Fashion.

AM:Fashion and Art. What do these words mean to you?

ED:Fashion and Art are for me almost the same. Fashion IS Art. Every Piece a designer makes is a piece of art. Especially if you look at the Haute Couture designers out there.

These designers use the most beautiful materials and make every garment a special Art Piece.

AM: How much Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat) can promote a model-blogger to become internationally recognized?

ED:Nowadays, Social media is very important. I remember the first time I came to the US. The first questions agencies were asking me; ‘how many followers do you have’

In Europe Instagram was never a big thing. But in the US it the first thing clients look at.

I used to love working on my instagram, but lately it has been such a hassle for me. Now its a ‘MUST’so I don’t enjoy it as much as I used to do.

Posting is something that is part of my daily routine. My day begins and ends with looking at my instagram feed.

AM:What do you dream of living in the future as a blogger-model?

ED: In the future I see myself doing more Acting. Ive just finished my first TV show at Lifetime called ‘American Beauty Star’ and this is something that is really close to my heart. I enjoy the art of acting.

My next project will be a documentary about the last comfort woman. It’s about the Korean, Chinese and Dutch woman that were sexually slaved by the Japanese army in the   WO2.

A very important subject that is still playing for woman rights today.

Already from an early age, Iggy was fascinated by the horse world. Her parents introduced her to this beautiful creature and since now she has never lost her love for the animal. Her passion goes out to Show Jumping. She trained horses on an international level at professional jumping stables in Europe, as well as in the USA.

Although horses couldn’t be her only way of living, she studied at the Johan Cruiff University in Amsterdam where she finished her Bachelor Business Administration. Quickly she found out that not only horses were her passion but also the fashion industry had a special place in her heart.
In London she graduated from the Condé Nast College of Fashion and Design.

When she was 16, she got discovered by a Dutch photographer and from that moment on she was modeling all over the world. She started in Amsterdam and Paris but soon be followed by Istanbul, Milan, Dubai and London.
She was honored to work with celebrities like George Clooney, Nicole Kidman and many other International Brands like Ralph Lauren, Avon, Cartier, Guess and Clarins.

To proceed her hosting and acting career, Iggy moved out to Los Angeles California.
She already booked her first tv show starting this september 2017 on Lifetime. Called; American Beauty Star. Hosted by Adriana Lima.
