AM: Modeling and Blogging, what part of your personality   expresses?

ED:If I look back at my blogging history and my modeling career, I see that both inspire me on the fashion side.  After finishing my degree at the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, I knew I would always be inspired to work in the fashion industry. In front or Behind the scenes. I enjoy both. With fashion I can express myself, who I am without having to speak. Thats the beauty of Fashion.

AM:Fashion and Art. What do these words mean to you?

ED:Fashion and Art are for me almost the same. Fashion IS Art. Every Piece a designer makes is a piece of art. Especially if you look at the Haute Couture designers out there.

These designers use the most beautiful materials and make every garment a special Art Piece.

AM: How much Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat) can promote a model-blogger to become internationally recognized?

ED:Nowadays, Social media is very important. I remember the first time I came to the US. The first questions agencies were asking me; ‘how many followers do you have’

In Europe Instagram was never a big thing. But in the US it the first thing clients look at.

I used to love working on my instagram, but lately it has been such a hassle for me. Now its a ‘MUST’so I don’t enjoy it as much as I used to do.

Posting is something that is part of my daily routine. My day begins and ends with looking at my instagram feed.

AM:What do you dream of living in the future as a blogger-model?

ED: In the future I see myself doing more Acting. Ive just finished my first TV show at Lifetime called ‘American Beauty Star’ and this is something that is really close to my heart. I enjoy the art of acting.

My next project will be a documentary about the last comfort woman. It’s about the Korean, Chinese and Dutch woman that were sexually slaved by the Japanese army in the   WO2.

A very important subject that is still playing for woman rights today.
