AM: When did you start your career as a tattoo artist? What does tatoo mean for Anastasia as a person?

 

AG :I started hitting tattoos 5 years ago in a studio in Thessaloniki.After hitting the firts one, i one of my best friend, I realized that I am very happy with the feeling, not only during the process but also at the end of it. I love the arts. I just left my greek philology career apart to start my favourite tatoo creator career as a rookie. Now it's just a way of life, my way of creation, it certainly makes me more happy in my daily life.

 

AM:Like most tattoo artists, so do you have one in your body, what do these designs mean to you? Moments? People? What is your favorite?

 

AG:In contrast to most tattoo artists, I do not have much in my body. I have a little one in my feet, which i did it myself when I started learning, so the value is more emotional to me.I have also a great tattoo picturing a peacock from my favourite and mentor tatoo artist (Kostas Tzikalagias), which  is beautiful. I honestly can't decide which is my favourable.

 

AM: Is there someone who inspired (or inspires) you to become a tattoo artist?

 

AG:  Not when  i started but a little bit later there was a tatoo artist, well known in Greece and abroad, beside whom there were some important stimuli and influence on the way of life of an artist (everyday life, voyage), things that were unfamiliar with my life until then. I do not talk about style at all, neither terms of technique. Today many people inspire me, artists from Greece and abroad.

 

AM: Does the body convey beliefs through the tattoo? Or simply is another measure of the fashion of our times?

 

AG:They both do. It is not possible for the whole public to be entirely interested in the expression of the meanings. However, everyone can do it exclusively for fashion, but rather for media or social media standards. However, I believe that everyone can express himself through the tattoo according to his personality.

 

AM: What would you advise someone who would come to "hit" his first tattoo?

 

AG: He must think of it very well. Many people, especially young, just want to have one or more tattoos. Someone that wants to hit his first tatoo, or any other later, must carefully consider his option. It is something, that covers his body's part.

 

 AM:What is the nicest tattoo you have "hit" on another ?

 

 AG:I can not answer this with certainty. First of all, the beauty is purely subjective. If you ask about what is the one that is most definitely favourable, i would say the tatoos that filled my clients' eyes with pleasure, satisfaction and light!

 

AM: What are your dreams and your plans for the future?

 

AG: I think that is about time to invest more time, more energy in drawing and tatoo designing!  Hit as much tatoos as i can! In the near future, travelling abroad, meeting with other artists, learning from them, gathering experience would be an appropriate step for my career. Tatoo is a way of creating!
